It's getting to be quickly, and there are just a few songs that inherently scream fall for me. Here are a few of them for you my dahlings.
Fleet Foxes do an amazing job rounding this one.
Had to throw Ryan in there. I guess fall reminds me of snuggly love sheets. This song by Ryan Adams is my ultimate snuggly loves sheets song. It's haunting, melodious, upsetting yet quieting at the same time.
Counting Crows and Adam Duritz epitomize the use of the light jacket for wearing one's heart on one's sleeve.
Last but not least in my musical heart, Augustana. "Either Way" is a song that embodies the goodbye waves and hello kisses of fall.
Sister Love
This looks like my baby sister and I. Of course I don't care my underwear is showing, it's more fun!
It's My Birthday!
Today was my birthday and I just wanted to post a little something to all my readers to thank them for the well wishes and love on this one day of year where I love myself ALL DAY!
Music Monday
Here is a little post-labor day jam for the people. It's violent, but it's got Megan Fox in it so I feel it's alright.
In lieu of Music Monday
This video is just so beautiful I had to share it. Check out Lily and the Muse to see more fantastical videos of the like.
Hound Dog Baby
Here's a little eye candy for the day. I think I might be falling into an Elvis spiral! Watch out Memphis, I'm comin for ya.
Music Monday
I CAN NOT believe I missed Music Monday AGAIN! It's already Wednesday! I was sooo excited about the new school year that I completely forgot all of my bloggy friends.
So here are a couple of really rad videos I found on the youtube. I promptly posted them on all of my friend's facebook pages as well, so if you've seen 'em already. WATCH THEM AGAIN!
These are The Morning Benders. A new band that happens to be super fun and lovely.
This youtube site, LaBlogotheque, is the shizzle fo rizzle. They construct a bunch of amazing take away shows from artists that travel through France.

AND
Sunday Jams
This is how I'm spending my Sunday morning. Joe Purdy is an amazing songwriter and if you don't know him I feel sad for your soul.
Back To School Needs
These are my MUST HAVE for winter. I am in love with this taupe color but could also go for the original brown. I can imagine these with skinny jeans, skirts and tights and even shorts for this winter. Oh please Santa Claus, I've been a really good girl this year!
Check em out at Frye's drool worthy website!
Happy Sunday
Good Morning bloggy lovers. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood/apartment complex and also the last day of summer available. This means it's my last chance for my morning to start at noon.
Oh How Sweet It Is!
Daily Ryan Adams Love
These are Ryan's sex me eyes. I keep coming back to them for a little love this weekend.
Enjoy it best friends and would-be-lovers.
Next Outing!
The next time my life is revolving around out-of-town bars, I am rocking this look. Falsies... check!!!
All in a Turquoise Dream.
So I have been dreaming about this exact car for a couple of weeks now. My sister and I with two slightly strange old friends driving around the Texas hill country listening to old tunes with the top down.
Check out this week ride @ this sweet website.
Music Monday
In leu of recent alcohol induced music blogging, it is time once again, for the REAL Music Monday.
New Arcade Fire Album is out and completely rockin'. . . Like, to the core. It's a bit more mellow than "Funerals" but is still worth your rent (or a portion of it).
Also, Ray Lamontagne's new album comes out tomorrow, "God Willin and the Creek Don't Rise". It should be another classic Ray L. album. Mellow acoustic jams that will make your girl bat her lashes at you circa Sebastian in "The Little Mermaid".
Also. For those of you who do not listen to Sonic Youth already, check em out. Too bad they are gone, but they left enough love to spread on this music sandwich.
Goodnight loverlies.
Enjoy.

I Keep Looking for the Blindfold Faith.
I have lost a lover and gained a friend. Noteworthy news I felt best expressed in this amazing version of Classic Cars with Gillian Welch.
Music Friday: 90's love.
Another childhood love, while we are on the 90's subject. All horniness for Brett Scallions aside.
I'm on a Create Highhorse!
So,
It seems that taking initiative to start creating a wedding dress has spurred my imagination. RIT dye + white curtains = RAD! And also, I made a journey to the Home Depot to scout out some lumber to build a desk. I am tooo picky to actually purchase one that I truly love, so therefore I am going to MAKE ONE!
The only ingredient necessary now is a man with a table saw. Watch out men of Greeley, I'm comin for ya (in a burly sawdust kind of way).
Goodnight future lovers and friends!

Creative Slump.
Larry McMurty said in his memoir titled "Books" that in order to keep himself on task he wrote 5 pages a day. If he woke up and started his day with 5 pages, he would have the rest of the day to go about his business as he pleased. A sort of creative diet, if you will. If I had to donate 5 pages worth of time every morning, what would I donate it to? The turquoise typewriter on my desk? The wedding dress due in December? A garmet of my own design? A painting of colors and moods?
